seeks highly motivated individuals with excellent customer service skills to assist patients in applying for Medicaid and/or Charity Care on behalf of our client facility in Long Branch, NJ .

Duties:

Financial Counselor will assist patients in applying for Medical Assistance and possible other hospital state or federal programs, when applicable. Counsel patients in navigating through medical bills, insurance benefits, and financial resources available. Determining the best sources of payment for services provided to patients Working with patients and/or family members, employers, banks and federal/state offices for additional information as needed Other duties as assigned Qualified applicants must: Wiling to train in our Cherry Hill, NJ. be bilingual (English/Spanish speaking) be trustworthy be professional and have people skills be detail and goal oriented be a self-starter be organized and able to multitask be ambitious in a fast-paced environment, and can perform in high volume setting be able to learn and work Medicaid and Charity Care eligibility regulations be comfortable working in a hospital setting applicant must be willing to train in one of our local office locations Physical Exam, PPD screening, and immunization/COVID records are also required. Minimum high school diploma or GED is also required.

Available Shifts:
