If you join our organization you will offer support and bring clarity to the functional death literacy topic our families often require. An opening at our Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, N.Y.
currently exists and would include:
  • Assisting families with decisions regarding at-need and pre-need interment; Provide property tours which help families find their cemetery locations.
Develop and maintain relationships with our cemetery families. Record all leads and transactions in CRM software program (sold & unsold) and keep current by updating account information regularly. A successful candidate to work in the Family Service Counselor role will possess:
  • High level of empathy.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional presence (appearance, manners).
  • Intermediate MS Office (Outlook, Calendar, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to learn new proprietary software.
  • Intermediate conferencing (Zoom, Skype).
  • Professional follow-up skills (organized, systematic, thorough).
  • Ability to discern and report feedback in all forms from all stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Knowledge of the Catholic Faith.
  • Calmness under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour, 35 hour week schedule
