Job Description

DPI Staffing is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our customers team as a Administrative Specialist 2. This position serves as the sole representative fiduciary payee, acting as the primary financial steward for veterans who are unable to manage their own VA benefits and other sources of income.
Pay Rate:
$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM

May 27th to June 2nd

Key Responsibilities:
Fiduciary management
  • Primary USDVA Fiduciary Hub contact; manage individual veteran accounts, benefits deposits & welfare disbursements Financial support
  • Engage veterans with behavioral health needs using active listening and de-escalation techniques Budgeting & planning
  • Develop individualized monthly budgets prioritizing housing, utilities, medical, and personal care Bill payment & records
  • Execute timely payments; maintain meticulous records for federal auditing USDVA compliance
  • Prepare and submit accurate annual accountings; ensure full fiduciary oversight compliance Case coordination
  • Collaborate with social workers, healthcare providers & legal guardians to adjust financial plans Advocacy
  • Serve as liaison between veterans and creditors or service agencies
Qualifications:
Expertise in managing high-volume accounts payable, bill processing, and electronic payment systems with high accuracy. Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment when navigating intricate financial scenarios, legal requirements, and conflicting priorities. Knowledge of working with individuals who have complex behavioral health backgrounds; ability to provide services through a trauma-informed lens with patience and professional boundaries. Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage sensitive interactions with veterans, family members, and external agencies while maintaining professional boundaries. Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery and regulatory compliance. Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to pass a DMV background check (state vehicle required for deliveries and pickups).
