is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology Financial Navigator to join our team in Allentown, PA . This role supports patients undergoing cancer treatment by helping them understand and access available financial assistance, insurance benefits, and reimbursement programs. The Oncology Financial Navigator plays a critical role in reducing financial barriers to care, improving patient confidence, and supporting positive treatment outcomes during a challenging time. Physician and Tactical Healthcare Services (PATHS), LLC provides accounts receivable management, patient advocacy, and healthcare consulting services to hospitals and healthcare organizations throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware . With approximately 400 employees and more than 100 healthcare clients , PATHS supports hospitals, physician practices, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, emergency departments, clinics, home health agencies, medical transport providers, and behavioral health organizations. We are committed to professionalism, teamwork, and making a meaningful difference in patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist oncology patients receiving cancer treatments or infusions with applying for drug cost and co-pay reimbursement programs Counsel patients on navigating medical bills, insurance benefits, and available financial resources Work collaboratively with patients, physicians, nursing staff, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance providers Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with healthcare and privacy regulations Support patients throughout the financial navigation process with empathy and professionalism Perform other related duties as assignedRequirements:
Required Qualifications Experience working in a healthcare facility preferred Insurance billing, Medicaid eligibility, patient advocacy, or social work experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and goal-driven Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Pre-Employment Requirements Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of applicable screenings in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, including: Criminal background check and drug screening Physical exam and PPD screening Proof ofCOVID-19
