Job Description Compensation:
Starting around $60,000+ base salary + bonus opportunities
Overview:
Our client, a growing and highly collaborative financial services organization in Philadelphia, is seeking a Financial Planning Associate to support financial advisors and clients through a comprehensive planning and operations process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the middle of the action, helping advisors stay organized, supporting client onboarding and underwriting, and playing a key role in the overall client experience. The team is highly focused on development, collaboration, and long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Advisor & Planning Support:
Support advisors with planning preparation, case design, and operational execution Help advisors stay proactive and organized throughout the sales and planning process Assist with pipeline management and workflow coordination Serve as a resource for product and planning-related questions
Client Operations:
Prepare paperwork and materials needed for underwriting and client onboarding Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth underwriting and investment operations processes Assist with opening and funding investment accounts Help process account transfers, distributions, trade corrections, and servicing requests Support insurance servicing updates, including beneficiary changes, address updates, and payment-related changes
Team & Growth Support:
Help support the development of newer advisors entering the business Contribute to operational improvements and overall team efficiency Continue pursuing professional development, licensing, and industry education
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, insurance, or operations preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills Motivated, coachable, and eager to grow professionally Securities licensing or interest in pursuing licenses/designations is a plus
Compensation & Growth:
Starting base salary around $60,000+ Additional bonus opportunities tied to team growth and production metrics Compensation growth opportunities as licensing and professional development milestones are achieved
