Role:
The Financial Advisor will market and explain investment, insurance, and advisory solutions to clients using a goals-based planning approach. You will develop client profiles through interviews and in-depth discussions around financial background, goals, time horizon, and risk tolerance. Using this information, you will construct customized investment strategies aligned with client needs and firm philosophy. The role includes opening accounts, executing and confirming client orders, maintaining detailed records, handling inquiries, and delivering a high level of service. Advisors are expected to maintain product knowledge, stay current on market trends, and uphold strict standards of confidentiality and compliance.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide needs-based financial planning and investment recommendations
Explain and offer a full suite of investment and insurance solutions
Interview clients to gather goals, risk tolerance, and financial background
Develop customized investment strategies and conduct portfolio reviews
Open accounts, process transactions, and confirm client orders
Maintain client records, respond to inquiries, and manage ongoing relationships
Stay current on investment products, regulations, and internal procedures
Support marketing and client outreach initiatives
Safeguard confidential client information and support compliance requirements
Maintain a strong presence in client meetings, branches, and community interactions
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Series 7 and 66 licenses required , plus state insurance licensing
2-3+ years of brokerage, advisory, or wealth management experience
Experience serving high-net-worth or mass-affluent clients strongly preferred
Proven business development and client relationship management skills
Ability to analyze financial goals, assess investment needs, and recommend appropriate products
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and independent judgment
Travel within the region as needed to meet clients
Technical Skills:
Experience with investment platforms such as Bloomberg, Advantage, or similar systems is preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary: $75,000 - $105,000
Commission earnings + discretionary annual bonus
