- Full-time This is a build your own practice role for someone who has already succeeded somewhere else and is starting to feel the ceiling.
We train you fully. No prior financial experience is required. What we cannot train is drive, the ability to build trust with people, and the willingness to bet on yourself. If you have those, the rest is learnable. You would join my team in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey market and build a practice in integrated holistic financial planning. You own the relationships. You own the work. You own the long term upside. You begin as a financial representative and move into the advisor role once your licensing is complete. Who this is for I recruit selectively, so I will be direct about who tends to do well here. The people who succeed usually have a real track record of personal and professional success, have carried responsibility, and are competitive by nature. Many come from sales, business development, ownership, athletics, law, or other fields where they were paid for output rather than tenure. They want control over their income and their time, and they want work that actually changes people's lives. What you would do Build and manage your own client base through relationships and referrals. Learn to deliver integrated holistic financial planning across protection, investment, and long term strategy. Guide clients through real decisions about their money, their families, and their futures. Run your practice as the owner, with the resources and brand of Northwestern Mutual behind you. What we provide First year earnings potential of $75,000 to $140,000. This is a commission based role with self determined income and no cap, so what you earn reflects the practice you build. Full training and licensing support, including SIE, Series 6, and Series 63. Mentorship and a proven development path, so you work for yourself but never by yourself. The product depth, brand, and resources of Northwestern Mutual. Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. Retirement package and pension for those who qualify. Group life and disability income protection. Full sponsorship of licensing and ongoing education, including Series exams and support toward the CFP. Income and expense support during your early build years. Recognition, travel, and leadership development as you grow. What we look for A history of success in whatever you have done so far. Strong communication and the ability to build trust quickly. Self motivation and the discipline to run your own schedule. Resilience and a healthy relationship with rejection. An entrepreneurial mindset and a real desire to own something. Bachelor's degree preferred. How the process works This is a selective process by design. If you look like a fit, the next step is a short conversation, a brief behavioral assessment, and an initial meeting where we both decide if this is right. I would rather have an honest conversation early than waste your time or mine.
