Administrative Full Time, Days, 40 hours Posted 6/10/2026 Requisition # 15484 What you need to know about this position: This position provides financial counseling assistance to patients or guarantors of patient accounts for the purpose of settling outstanding hospital balances due for services rendered. The position's primary customers are the patients or guarantors of patient accounts for which an outstanding hospital service balance remains. Suppliers include other Patient Financial Services Department employees as well as internal hospital employees. The base hourly rate for this position is $17.61. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. This full-time position will require you to work 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday. The position is partially remote eligible. What is required for this position: Education and/or Experience High School graduate and six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. Must have phone customer service experience - handling upset/angry customers Medical billing experience - understanding of medical billing/claims and EOBs Possess logical/critical thinking skills Must be detailed and thorough in work Epic experience preferred
