We believe weddings should be more personal than performative. We're drawn to celebrations that feel chic, cheeky, intentional, and genuine, not cookie-cutter events designed solely for social media. Our approach is down-to-earth, collaborative, and rooted in creating an experience that reflects each couple's unique story. As Meadow Mémoire grows, we're looking for someone who wants to grow alongside us. Position Overview Meadow Mémoire is seeking a Wedding Planner Intern (Planner-in-Training) to learn the ins and outs of wedding planning and coordination directly from an experienced planner. This internship is designed as a training period with the goal of transitioning into a paid planner position upon successful completion. We're looking for someone who is excited about weddings, eager to learn, comfortable interacting with clients, and passionate about creating exceptional experiences. Previous event experience is a plus, but it is not required. Personality, professionalism, and willingness to learn are far more important. This position offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for college students, recent graduates, career changers, or anyone seeking hands-on experience in the wedding industry. What You'll Be Doing Throughout the internship, you'll receive both virtual and in-person training, including: Shadowing client consultations and planning meetings Attending venue tours and vendor meetings Learning wedding planning systems, timelines, and workflows Participating in virtual training sessions and educational modules Assisting with administrative and planning tasks Shadowing wedding day coordination and execution Learning client communication and relationship management Observing real-world problem solving on wedding days Gradually taking on responsibilities as skills and confidence grow As your training progresses, you'll be given increasing opportunities to lead portions of meetings, assist couples directly, and develop your own planning style. What Makes Meadow Mémoire Different We don't believe there's only one "right" way to be a wedding planner. Our planners are encouraged to develop their own voice, planning style, and client experience. We value creativity, authenticity, and individuality. As our company grows, we want planners who bring their own strengths and ideas to the table. This is an opportunity to learn the foundations of planning while building a career that feels uniquely yours. Who We're Looking For You might be a great fit if you are: Friendly, approachable, and professional Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable talking with people Dependable and self-motivated Adaptable under pressure Excited to learn new skills Down-to-earth with a good sense of humor Passionate about helping people celebrate important moments Available to attend occasional evening and weekend events Preferred Qualifications Interest in weddings, events, hospitality, or customer service Experience in retail, hospitality, events, communications, or client-facing roles Strong written and verbal communication skills Reliable transportation within Northeast Ohio Basic familiarity with Google Workspace and virtual meeting platforms No prior wedding planning experience is required.
