DGI works with entrepreneurs, corporations, and project developers to help arrange debt and equity capital for large-scale projects across maritime logistics, agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, renewable energy, and international trade. Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant
  • Project Finance & Strategic Capital to identify and engage lenders, investors, and strategic partners for large-scale projects requiring institutional financing and investment.
The selected consultant will support the full transaction lifecycle, including capital sourcing, financial structuring, stakeholder engagement, due diligence coordination, and successful closing. This role is ideal for senior professionals with a strong network among commercial banks, investment institutions, private equity firms, family offices, and development finance organizations. Key ResponsibilitiesCapital Sourcing Identify and engage commercial banks, investment institutions, and strategic capital providers. Facilitate debt and equity funding for projects ranging from USD 50 Million to USD 500 Million and above. Build and maintain relationships with qualified financing partners. Strategic Partnership Development Establish relationships with institutional investors and strategic partners. Support joint venture and co-investment opportunities. Expand DGI's global funding network. Financial Structuring Review project proposals, business plans, and financial models. Develop appropriate capital structures and financing strategies. Assist in preparing investment presentations and transaction materials. Transaction Execution Coordinate discussions, negotiations, and due diligence. Support legal documentation and closing processes. Help manage transactions through successful funding and disbursement. Strategic Advisory Advise management and clients on capital strategy, partnership structures, and transaction planning. Sector Focus Maritime Shipping and Logistics Agriculture and Agro-Industrial Development Food Processing and Livestock Manufacturing Infrastructure Renewable Energy International Trade Candidate RequirementsProfessional Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or institutional fundraising. Demonstrated track record of participating in transactions of USD 50 Million or more. Established relationships with lenders, investors, and strategic partners. Technical Capabilities Strong understanding of project finance and capital structuring. Experience with cross-border transactions and institutional funding. Ability to assess business plans and financial projections. Education MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional credentials preferred. Availability Able to work on a contractual basis. Willing to collaborate in a hybrid work environment and travel internationally when required.
