Key Responsibilities:

Process daily cash posting for entire company Maintain accurate financial records using Viewpoint, Excel, and other spreadsheets Train new hires in cash application Process daily cash applications, including Wire, ACH, ACH Debit payments Communicate with internal teams to identify and resolve unapplied payments Work with the accounting team to assist in any monthly/quarterly/yearly balancing Process customer credit checks Issue company credit cards to employees per company policy Identify and resolve payment discrepancies promptly Generate and process reports as requested by management Work closely with the finance, accounting, and collections teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data and timely resolution of issues Perform light general ledger tasks and reconciliations Assist with AR cleanup efforts to ensure accurate financial reporting Identify opportunities to streamline cash application processes, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency Manage a queue of customer setup requests Perform additional tasks assigned

COMPETENCIES - SKILLS

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle a high-volume workload efficiently and accurately In-depth understanding of accounts receivable functions Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data analysis Experience leading, developing, and managing performance of a team Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, from team members to senior executives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree is preferred Minimum of 6 years of experience in cash applications Solid understanding and hands-on experience with cash applications, collections, AR aging, and domestic cash transactions Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Familiarity with Viewpoint software
