Financial Counselor - Make a Meaningful Impact in Patient Care At Collin Springs Behavioral Hospital, our team is dedicated to changing lives-and our Financial Counselors play a vital role in that mission. As a trusted resource for patients and families, you'll help navigate the financial side of care with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
What You'll Do:
Guide patients and families through financial responsibilities with empathy and transparency Verify insurance coverage and clearly explain benefits and out-of-pocket costs Help patients understand their options, including payment plans and funding resources Collaborate with patients to create fair, manageable financial solutions Ensure accurate and timely insurance verification and documentationWhat Makes This Role Special:

Strong communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Knowledge of insurance types (HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial) preferred Passion for helping others and making a difference What we're looking for Applicants should have a high school diploma.Additional requirements include:
Previous experience in healthcare collections or a related field, or any combination of education, training, or experience in health care business office setting preferred. Valid driver's license preferred May be required to work flexible hours and overtime. Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.Schedule:
