Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paraplanner / Financial Planning Associate to work directly alongside an advisor in preparing for client meetings and supporting the planning process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the analytical and organizational side of financial planning and wants to grow within the industry. While there may be opportunities to participate in client meetings over time, this role does not require someone who wants to be client-facing full-time. If you love planning, strategy, organization, and helping create exceptional client experiences behind the scenes, this could be a great fit. Responsibilities Prepare advisor meeting materials and client presentations Assist with planning strategies involving: Annuities Life insurance Investment/AUM accounts Review and organize client financial information Coordinate follow-up items before and after meetings Help maintain accurate client records and documentation Assist with product research and comparisons Support the advisor with planning analysis and recommendations Collaborate closely with the team to create an exceptional client experience Qualifications Previous experience in the financial services industry preferred Series 65 license preferred (or willing to get within 1 year) Insurance license preferred (or willing to get within 6 months) Familiarity with CRM systems and financial planning software Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Passionate about financial planning, retirement planning, or wealth management Ideal Candidate Enjoys helping advisors create thoughtful financial plans Loves being part of a collaborative, supportive team Finds satisfaction in organization, preparation, and problem-solving Wants to grow within the financial services industry Appreciates a smaller office culture where relationships matter Perks & Culture Beautiful office setting overlooking Lake Bellevue Summer Fridays off (June through August) Collaborative team environment where your contributions matter Meaningful work helping clients preserve and protect their financial future Competitive compensation based on experience We're looking for someone who wants more than just a job — someone who wants to be part of a team that cares deeply about clients, values relationships, and enjoys building something meaningful together.
