32 hours per week. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Financial Counselor to join our Patient Registration & Accounts team. This role requires a high volume of online, phone and in-person interaction, supporting patients with billing questions, payment solutions, and financial assistance options. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service via MyChart, phone, and face-to-face interactions Counsel patients on private pay billing, payment plans, and financial assistance programs Assist patients in understanding and resolving account balances Process financial assistance applications and required documentation Manage daily deposits and maintain accurate financial records Complete billing office tasks, including work queues and report management Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient revenue cycle processes Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of healthcare billing and/or collections experience (strongly preferred) Proficient computer skills and experience with billing systems Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage difficult or sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy High attention to detail and organizational skills Benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Short-term disability coverage Generous paid time off (PTO) 401(k) retirement savings plan Apply Today If you are passionate about helping patients navigate their financial responsibilities and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply.
