PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The Secondary Marketing Pricing Analyst will be responsible for monitoring our pricing position on the various pricing engines, will recommend intraday price changes to maintain our competitive position in the marketplace, and generating the approved price changes within our various pricing applications. The position will operate within the Capital Markets department and will Interact with multiple outside pricing engine vendors. The position will communicate regularly with the senior management of the sales and operations departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Run pricing scenarios through the companies pricing engines Analyze the results of those pricing scenarios Develop programs and automation to perform pricing routines in a more quick and efficient manner Prepare the corresponding reports and recommendations for pricing changes Effectively communicate the recommendations Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
DESIRED PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong mathematical aptitude and data analysis skills. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Good organizational skills to ensure integrity and maintenance of mortgage documents.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be highly proficient in Excel or other database languages Possess and apply strong analytical skills Interface with department and executive management
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
EXPERIENCE
Recent college graduate Mortgage experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
