The Sr. Pricing/Cost Analyst provides commercial analytics to support data-driven decision-making for large accounts within the Corrugated Division, including bids and contract renewals. This role also performs ad hoc analysis and prepares clear communications related to cost savings, profit improvement, and new product proposals. How you will impactWestRock:
Manage bid packages for large national account customers, including Requests for Quote (RFQs). Partner with national account sales and business unit leadership to provide analytical support for data requests and RFQs. Analyze, compare, and evaluate the impact to sales, costs, and profitability across alternative designs and commercial terms. Build strong working relationships with Corporate Sales and key division, regional, plant, and corporate stakeholders. Communicate project progress and analytical findings to internal and external customers.What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years of experience in pricing analytics, cost analytics, and/or commercial finance analytics preferred. Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution preferred. Ability to manage multiple large projects concurrently; analysts may manage multiple projects at a time. Advanced analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative), including the ability to interpret trends, identify drivers, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Self-directed, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas; macros a plus). Demonstrated experience building analytical models (e.g., pricing waterfalls, margin/volume scenarios, sensitivity analysis) to support commercial decisions. Strong data storytelling skills—able to present findings with clear visuals and a concise narrative for both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working with large datasets, validating data quality, and summarizing results for business discussions is a plus.What we offer:
