Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Pricing & Cost Strategy with deep experience supporting federal government contracting, including Intelligence Community, DoD, NASA, and commercial programs. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in pricing strategy, cost volume leadership, financial analysis, proposal development, BOE creation, and compliance with FAR/DFAR, CAS, and solicitation requirements. This leader will guide cross-functional proposal teams, build complex pricing models, ensure cost realism, support new business pursuits, and strengthen the organization's competitive position through data driven pricing and financial insights. Key Responsibilities Pricing Strategy & Cost Volume Leadership Lead end to end pricing development for large complex federal bids, including T&M, FFP, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, hybrid models, and performance based service contracting. Develop compliant price models, subcontractor pricing instructions, and narrative documentation aligned to solicitation requirements, FAR/DFAR, and internal policies. Conduct price to win analysis, cost realism assessments, labor category mapping, and rate analysis to ensure competitive and auditable pricing. Leads the development of pricing strategies to maximize revenue and margin goals, identifying risks, interpreting solicitation requirements, and ensuring compliance with company policies, disclosure statements, FAR, CAS, and solicitation requirements. Identify and recommend enhancements to internal practices to strengthen pricing strategies. Cross-Functional Proposal Support Coordinate with technical solution architects, program managers, finance, contracts, and supply chain to gather cost inputs and validate BOEs. Lead internal cost/pricing strategy discussions and present pricing solutions to leadership for review and approval. Support fact-finding, negotiations, audits, and BAFO processes with government customers. Process Improvement & Leadership Provide mentorship and guidance to pricing analysts Support process-improvement initiatives in pricing workflow, proposal development, project controls, and financial reporting systems. Implement tools, templates, and best practices to drive accuracy, consistency, and compliance across proposals Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in pricing, cost estimating, financial analysis, project controls, or business operations within federal contracting. Strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS, TINA, and government acquisition processes. Demonstrated expertise developing and managing complex pricing and cost models for multimillion dollar proposals. Proven success supporting competitive captures, re-competes, new business development, and large-scale proposal efforts. Strong understanding of government cost principles, indirect rates, revenue recognition, invoicing, and EAC management. Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial modeling. Preferred Qualifications • Experience conducting BOE development. • Bachelors or MS in Finance, Financial Management, or related field. Additional Strengths Excellent communication and leadership capabilities with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams. Highly analytical, detail oriented, and adept at balancing competing priorities under tight deadlines. Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph Preferred
