Job Description

Job Description We're partnering with a growing finance platform to find a Finance Manager who thrives in pricing and structuring financial transactions -not traditional accounting. Preferred locations are Des Moines, IA and Wayne, PA, but remote candidates located in Eastern and Central time zones will be considered. This role is heavily focused (60-65%) on deal pricing and structuring , working across transactions ranging from ~$75K to $20M+. You'll own pricing strategy, build/maintain rate cards, and partner closely with sales to ensure deals hit return targets while staying competitive.
Primary responsibilities:
Price and structure transactions across a wide range of size and complexity Own pricing controls, rate cards, and margin management Partner with sales to balance growth and profitability Work on complex/strategic deals, including syndication and subsidy support Oversee a small cash application team (great opportunity for a first-time leader) Support commissions, funding coordination, and broader finance reporting Required experience: 5+ years in leasing, equipment finance, banking, or commercial finance Hands-on experience pricing and structuring financial transactions (this is key) Strong Excel/modeling skills-comfortable building pricing models Solid understanding of credit, cost of funds, deal structure, and return targets Ability to partner with sales and clearly explain pricing decisions This is not a fit for candidates with only product or retail pricing backgrounds-financial deal structuring experience is essential.
Why consider it:
High-visibility role with real ownership over pricing strategy Exposure to complex, high-value transactions Opportunity to step into leadership (even without prior direct reports) Strong growth trajectory within a nimble but well-backed organization
Hybrid:
Wayne, PA or Des Moines, IA (8 days/month in-office)
