Price Risk Manager - Energy Markets About the Role Join World Fuel as a Price Risk Manager and help shape how sophisticated energy clients navigate volatility across natural gas, power, and transportation fuels. This is a high-impact, market-facing role combining market expertise, commercial insight, and strategic thinking. You will design risk management strategies, guide client decisions, and influence how the organization positions itself in evolving energy markets. You will work closely with commercial, client management, and leadership teams to deliver insights across natural gas supply, electricity markets, and fuel hedging strategies. Influence real-time commercial and hedging decisions Partner with senior stakeholders across energy and finance Shape how a leading energy company responds to market dynamics Build expertise across natural gas, power, and fuel markets Be part of a highly visible, intellectually challenging role What You'll Do Market Strategy & Insights Analyze pricing trends across natural gas, power, and fuels Develop and communicate hedging strategies and market positions Monitor supply/demand dynamics, macro trends, and forward markets Client & Stakeholder Advisory Advise on risk management and hedging decisions Support client teams in prospective and existing engagements Act as a subject matter expert in client discussions Build relationships with senior decision-makers Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership Produce market updates, client insights, and alerts on market-moving events Deliver webinars and presentations to internal and external audiences Translate complex market data into clear, actionable insights Represent World Fuel in industry forums and discussions Product & Strategy Development Enhance and develop price risk management tools and offerings Contribute to new commercial solutions, including hedging programs Support pricing strategy and service development Data & Tools Utilize platforms such as Bloomberg, ICE, Platts, EIA, and Power BI Maintain and enhance internal dashboards and reporting tools Translate data into insight-driven recommendations What We're Looking For Experience 7+ years of experience in energy markets, risk management, commodities, trading, or advisory roles Strong understanding of natural gas supply dynamics, power markets, and fuels pricing Experience developing and applying hedging strategies and financial structures Background in a client-facing or commercial environment Skills Strong analytical and financial modeling capability Ability to translate complex market data into actionable insights Excellent communication and presentation skills Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders Strong commercial judgment and decision-making ability Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or similar) preferred Nice to Have Experience with Power BI or similar analytics platforms Background in energy procurement, trading, or hedging advisory Industry visibility through presentations, publications, or thought leadership What You'll Love About Us Comprehensive health benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA/FSA options) 401(k) with company matching Generous paid time off and holidays Learning and development resources, including LinkedIn Learning Additional benefits including life insurance, disability coverage, and wellness programs #LI-TB3 #
