Job overview As a Pricing Analyst, you will support our pricing strategies and revenue optimization efforts. Building upon foundational pricing knowledge, you will help analyze data, monitor market trends, and provide insights that contribute to better pricing decisions. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Pricing & Marketplaces and cross-functional teams to help maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Here are the specifics:

Data Analysis:

Conduct guided analysis of pricing data to identify opportunities, trends, and customer behavior patterns.

Pricing Strategy Support:

Assist in the development and refinement of pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market demands.

Price Optimization:

Help monitor and analyze pricing performance, including margin assessments and the effectiveness of price adjustments.

Competitive Analysis:

Gather and compile competitive intelligence on competitor pricing strategies and market positioning to inform pricing decisions.

Forecasting and Modeling:

Support the maintenance of pricing models, reports, and tools to forecast the potential impact of pricing changes on revenue and margins.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as Merchandising, Purchasing, Marketing, and others) to ensure alignment and transparency in pricing initiatives.

Performance Monitoring:

Participate in the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of pricing strategies, analyzing results and recommending adjustments as needed to drive desired outcomes.

Compliance Oversight:

Support the management of Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and addressing any violations.

Data Integrity:

Assist in maintaining data accuracy and integrity in pricing databases, with meticulous attention to detail. Embrace and live out Speedway Motors core values.
