Job Description
Job Overview The Quote Manager plays a critical role in driving the pricing process for our products and services. In this leadership position, you will oversee and manage the Quoting process, ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive pricing for our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to develop and refine quoting processes that support the company's objectives. Your responsibilities will include leveraging market data, product specifications, and customer requirements to generate high-quality, profitable quotes, while ensuring alignment with company goals and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Quote Preparation:
Collaborate with the Sales team to implement a Quote Template to gather customer requirements and create detailed, accurate pricing quotes.
Price Development:
Collaborate with the other members of the Sales Operations team, Procurement and Operations to develop pricing and ensure approval from
Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure all components of the pricing structure are aligned and updated in a timely manner.
Quote Accuracy:
Ensure that all quotes are correct, consistent, and reflective of company pricing strategies and policies.
Margin Analysis:
Collaborate with Sales Operations team members as well as Finance to determine and track project margins based on actual component costs and price quotes
Customer Communication:
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries related to quotes and pricing details.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain organized records of all quotes, pricing changes, and customer communications. Provide reporting on quote statuses and outcomes to leadership as needed.
New Product Launch:
Collaborate with Project Management Team as well as future NPL Project Manager to ensure hand-off of project details and costing to prepare for launch after award by Customer.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute ideas and recommendations for improving the quoting process, tools, and strategies to streamline efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
Risk Management:
Identify and escalate potential pricing issues or discrepancies, ensuring that all quotes align with corporate margins and pricing guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. 2-4 years of experience in a quoting, sales support, pricing, or project coordination role; experience in pharmaceutical, contract manufacturing, or packaging industries a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in all deliverables. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers and internal stakeholders. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced office environment.

Pay:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
