The scope of this position also involves ad hoc analysis and communications associated with cost savings, profit improvement, and new product proposals. This position is located onsite at the Smurfit Westrock (insert location) facility. How you will impact
Smurfit Westrock:
Manage bid packages for large customers that come to us in the form of a Request for Quote (RFQ). Partner with the Sales Leadership to provide a full array of analytical support for data requests and Request for Quotations (RFQ's). Analyze, compare, and evaluate impact to sales, costs, and profits from different designs and/or commercial terms Establish an effective working relationship with the sales leaders, key division, regional, plant, and corporate personnel. Communicate project progress and analysis results to internal & external customers.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering or math-related discipline preferred. 3+ years of experience with price/cost data processing analysis preferred. Prior experience working in manufacturing or packaging facility. Must have the ability to manage multiple large projects with 4 to 8 bids / projects at the same time. Strong analytical mindset and ability required. Must be self-directed, self-motivated, and self-starter. Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with ability to communicate at all levels. MS Office proficiency with Advanced Excel skills required Analytical thinker with the ability to logically process information and make informed decisions Well organized with great time management skills to manage multiple priorities Highly motivated to excel and achieve results. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
