Job Summary The Underwriting Analyst provides advanced support for large and complex group insurance proposals and renewals. This role helps the Employee Benefits division acquire and retain profitable business by managing high‑volume, detail‑driven work with accuracy and efficiency. You'll partner closely with underwriting, actuarial, benefits, and other internal teams to ensure timely onboarding of sold cases, accurate financial reporting, and smooth renewal execution. Key Responsibilities Support Senior and National Accounts Underwriters with complex proposals and renewals Audit financial reports and premium data for accuracy at onboarding and renewal Compile and analyze census data and ad‑hoc reports for underwriting and reinsurance Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate implementation and reporting Contribute to special projects and process improvements
Skills and Background You'll Need Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
2+ years of experience in underwriting or a similar analytical role Experience working with financial reports and data analysis Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage high‑volume, detail‑oriented work Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work remotely within the United States Familiarity with Group Access, GroupFacts, OPUS, AdminEase, or similar reporting tools Basic project management experience Key Behaviors of a

Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance. The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.
Salary Range:
25.36 - 37.26 Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
