Job Title:
Pricing Operations Analyst Job Description The Pricing Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth pricing operations. With 2-3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and comfort working with large datasets and internal stakeholders, you will collaborate closely with another analyst during the onboarding period and beyond. Responsibilities Support the Strategy Analyst with day-to-day pricing operations. Manage Jira tickets related to Deal Hub pricing updates. Facilitate routine pricing and configuration changes within internal systems. Load, validate, and troubleshoot pricing data in the pricing and quoting tools. Help triage and resolve incoming pricing-related tickets (approximately 1-2 per day). Troubleshoot recurring pricing and data issues currently deprioritized due to capacity constraints. Partner with Product Managers to clarify pricing inputs and requirements. Interview Product Managers and draft seller-facing 'How to Price' one-pagers and pricing guidance documentation. Assist the team in transitioning to a new quoting and pricing tool, including price list ownership and system troubleshooting. Ensure pricing data accuracy and support reconciliation and 'books' handling as needed. Essential Skills 2-3 years of relevant professional experience (pricing, operations, finance, analytics, or similar). Strong skills and experience working with large datasets. Experience working with internal stakeholders across teams. Comfortable communicating with Product Managers and clarifying business requirements. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple requests and tickets in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience supporting pricing, quoting, or deal desk functions. Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems. Experience loading and validating data in enterprise systems. Exposure to pricing tools, ERP systems, or financial systems (nice to have, not required). Work Environment This role requires on-site presence from Tuesday to Thursday in Foster City. The position is set within a reputable finance company, offering a collaborative and dynamic work environment. The role involves working with advanced technologies, including Jira, Excel, and other enterprise systems, providing a robust platform for professional growth. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Foster City, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $62.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
