DOE Job Overview:
The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for providing pricing data and competitive insights in support of our ETF, private markets, and mutual fund product lines. The pricing analyst will be primarily responsible for overseeing daily operations of our pricing policies and procedures. This role will support the day-to-day responsibilities of the pricing group as well as any related regulatory and committee reporting duties. Key Responsibilities /
Duties:
Perform day-to-day responsibilities as it relates to security pricing, fair valuation, ASC 820/FAS 157 leveling determinations and related reporting processes Review and research of halted, suspended and delisted securities to determine preliminary fair valuations Review various price exception reports and perform necessary review to ensure appropriate prices are entered into internal systems Verification of significant price movements and market value analysis to validate accurate prices Own and update proprietary pricing methodology and tools, including: Changes needed to adapt logic to other vehicles or geographies Continuous improvements to pricing logic and tools (e.g., 'trigger' reports) over time Generate new product pricing recommendations using proprietary methodology and tools Organize and maintain pricing resources and tools Work Experience /
Knowledge:
At least 1 year of business experience in the asset management industry, preferably in pricing, trade operations, or fund accounting Understanding of the asset management industry Ability to manage large and complex data projects, and maintain code and data on ongoing basis Strong communication skills, research capabilities, and experience working with cross-functional teams Curious learner who stays on top of current and emerging industry and client trends Team player who is open minded, flexible and willing to incorporate other people's perspectives Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
