Pricing Analysts Pricing is consistent with Coburns various markets to ensure products are sold and gross profit margin targets are met.
Performance Standards:
Identify and evaluate opportunities to increase overall gross profit. Coordinate with Executives, General Managers, Branch Managers and Product Managers to develop and implement pricing policies and strategies. Coordinate product cost and price changes with the Buyers and Product Managers and ensure that the change is entered into Coburn Computer System. Assist Product Managers with evaluating pricing for new products. Evaluate the effectiveness of the pricing matrix when margins are dropping or when branches are not using the matrix, and adjust, as needed. Evaluate all system overrides (i.e. customized pricing for specific customers) that are outside of the matrix and communicate with the appropriate parties as needed. Analyze effectiveness of the matrix pricing using Gross Margin targets with each price change and adjust accordingly. Collect and centralize competitive information in order to analyze competition as a whole. Perform pricing review for each branch on an annual basis or as requested to ensure customer is in proper customer price code and to analyze customer specific system overrides. Coordinate pricing on particular promotions and advertised special pricing, to ensure appropriate price for a particular time period is in the Coburn Computer System. Educate the branches on the importance of using the pricing matrix and how to coordinate specific overrides when necessary. Assist branches in meeting Return on Current Assets (ROCA) targets to ensure branch success by recommending system price changes. Report Commodity Pricing Trends to Branch Managers and Sales personnel on a weekly basis.

Promotions Development There is an increase in sales for the targeted vendors during or directly following a promotion.
Performance Standards:
Participate with Marketing Manager, Division Manager sand General Managers in planning opportunities for increasing sales through sales & pricing promotions. Set system prices in ERP in coordination with Promotion Strategies. Participate in the communication (via web-ex, email or branch mail) with branches regarding pricing for promotions. Assist Marketing Manager with promotions, as requested or as needed.

Inventory Administration Costing processes & DC programs are properly utilized and monitored in order to maximize inventory gain.
Performance Standards:
Work with PIM Team to ensure database and category organization including new categories, Division, Mcat, and Category changes to ensure all products are properly classified in ERP. Coordinate with the appropriate Division Manager & Buyer(s) to approve new vendor requests; then forward the request form to AP for entry into the ERP upon approval. Monitor purchasing cost, vendor cost, average cost, and analyze commodity fluctuation; then work with the buyers to coordinate the proper updates in ERP to maximize inventory value. Oversee POP Claim and Debit Process for Proof Of Performance (POP) agreements. Report

Claim results to GMs and Branch Managers by 20thof each month Work with Buyers and Division Managers to monitor DC Vendor Cost and Transfer Cost to insure DC programs and special purchases are properly used. Monitor Unmatched Invoice Report to insure accuracy of system Purchasing Cost. Measure expected Inventory Gain or Loss each quarter and review with Executive Team and Controller. Work with General Managers and Branch Managers to increase awareness of Vendor Cost and Transaction Cost processes. Assist Buyers with cost inquiries from the branches. Authorize any Direct Sales Order where Transaction Cost is lower than PO Cost (as determined by Accounts Payable) due to rebate dipping or POP Claimback Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Administration, or related field required. Minimum of 5 years of industry related experience required. Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must pass company required drug screen, physical and background screening. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is not exposed to weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. A consistent presence at work is required.
Travel:
 Must maintain a valid drivers license and have the ability to travel to Coburns customer and company branch locations, as well as other locations, as requested. Must have the ability to work weekends.
