Pricing Manager Transportation Brokerage

Position Summary:

The Pricing Manager is responsible for developing pricing strategies that maximize profitability, improve bid competitiveness, and support sustainable business growth across the brokerage operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop strategic pricing models for spot, contractual and dedicated freight. Analyze market trends using DAT, Truckstop, SONAR, and internal transportation data. Support RFPs, bids, and customer pricing initiatives. Partner with carrier sales and operations teams to validate market assumptions and procurement costs. Monitor gross margin performance by customer, lane, and mode. Identify pricing risks and opportunities within customer portfolios. Build dashboards and analytical reports to support executive decision-making. Maintain pricing governance and approval structures. Conduct network optimization and lane profitability analysis. Support leadership with forecasting and market intelligence reporting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or related field preferred. 3+ years of brokerage pricing or transportation analytics experience. Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities. Advanced Excel and BI reporting skills preferred. Experience with freight market platforms and TMS systems.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
