Job DescriptionPromote the vision and strategy of Transcon within the Americas region; supporting activities related to domestic pricing, internal and external projects, and business development 
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Bid Management and Pricing Management of RFP/RFI pipelineSchedule and facilitate meetings between pricing team and bid stakeholders to align on expectations, roles, and responsibilitiesPrepare and analyze data to support the development of customer specific pricing.

Successful completion of RFI's (Request for Information), RFQ's (Request for Quotes), RFP's (Request for Pricing), and Bids for potential customers during the bidding process. Responsible for preparation of pricing, rates, rules and regulations, and accessorials.

Prepare and customize tariffs for new and existing customersSupport analysis on existing accounts to increase profitability.

Maintain historical pricing data and all associated supporting pricing material.

Work with the pricing team and branches to support development of local and regional pricing strategies.

Collaborate with Pricing Manager to grow domestic pricing competencies.

Support Product, Sales, and Account Management with articulating pricing strategies for customer presentations. Analytics, Reporting, and Business DevelopmentAnalyze, prepare and present information for monthly and quarterly executive management reviewsTimely preparation and distribution of monthly reports that support service provider spend, district overviews, branch performance, and customer activitySupport transition and implementation activities related to new transcon opportunitiesSupport Transcon business development through creation and distribution of monthly market updates and customer facing presentations QualificationsProven competence in data mining, quantitative analysis, and conceptual thinkingDetail and multi-task oriented. Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsThink creatively and arrive at recommendations based on analysisStrong attention to detailStrong technical and analytical skillsIntermediate user with Excel and Power PointAble to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyPossess thorough understanding of supply chain and transportation methods/modes, cost structures, service requirements, tariffs, fuel scales, accessorials, equipment and infrastructure in order to ensure optimal day-to-day management of clientsAbility to effectively communicate both written and verballyAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamProficient in troubleshooting and problem-solvingIntermediate user in ExcelExperience with Microsoft Power BI and Power PointExperience with Expeditors Accounting and SystemsTranscon, GNS or Cartage background preferred Bachelor's degree preferred with a concentration in business or logisticsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAdditional InformationExpeditors offers excellent benefits:
