Home Watch Inspector

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Watch Inspector to conduct routine inspections of vacant residential properties. The Home Watch Inspector is responsible for ensuring homes remain secure, well-maintained, and functioning properly while unoccupied. This position focuses on visual inspections, documentation, reporting concerns, and monitoring the overall condition of each property. Responsibilities Perform scheduled inspections of vacant homes Conduct visual inspections of interior and exterior areas Check for visible leaks, damages, mold, humidity concerns, or malfunctioning systems Verify thermostat and humidistat settings Ensure refrigerators, freezers, and other household systems are functioning properly Check for tripped breakers and reset if necessary Flush water lines during extended vacancies Conduct visual pest inspections Inspect pool areas, pool equipment, screen enclosures, and exterior property areas Inspect sprinkler systems, lighting, garage doors, surveillance cameras, and other technical systems Take and submit photos during inspections Complete detailed inspection reports and documentation Report maintenance concerns or urgent issues promptly Check mail and notify management of important correspondence Coordinate with approved vendors or contractors when directed Monitor landscaping, pool, and pest control services Qualifications Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good communication and organizational skills Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for reporting and photos Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Previous property management, inspection, maintenance, or home watch experience required. Position Details Field-based position traveling between residential properties Combination of indoor and outdoor work Flexible schedule may include occasional weekends Important Notes This position works with vacant homes only No guest or tenant interaction required No rent collection, bill paying, or financial transactions involved

From $25.00 per hour
