Senior Building Envelope Consultant (PE or RA)

Atlanta, GA A well-established and highly reputable consultancy is seeking a Senior Building Envelope Consultant (PE or RA) to join its growing team in Marietta, GA. This is a key hire, offering the opportunity to step into a senior, client-facing position within a firm known for its exceptional reputation across the Southeast and a strong base of repeat clients. This organisation has built long-standing relationships across commercial and institutional sectors, resulting in a consistent pipeline of technically interesting work and a high level of client trust. The Opportunity This role is suited to an experienced consultant looking to take ownership of projects, lead client interactions, and contribute to the continued growth of a respected building envelope practice. You'll be working on a diverse range of projects, focused on investigation, diagnosis, and remediation of building enclosure systems, while also playing a role in mentoring junior staff and supporting team development. Key Responsibilities Lead building envelope investigations across roofing, waterproofing, façade, and fenestration systems Perform and oversee field inspections, forensic evaluations, and condition assessments Prepare and review detailed technical reports with clear recommendations Develop repair and rehabilitation design solutions and provide construction-phase oversight Act as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining and strengthening repeat relationships Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on complex projects Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall team growth Requirements Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) 8-12+ years of experience in building envelope consulting, forensics, or restoration Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships Strong technical knowledge of building enclosure systems Experience in failure analysis, report writing, and repair design Confident communicator with a client-focused mindset Why Consider This Opportunity Join a firm with an outstanding reputation across the Southeast Benefit from a loyal and recurring client base, ensuring project stability Step into a senior, high-visibility role with autonomy and impact Work on diverse, technically challenging projects Clear pathway for continued progression and leadership Great benefits salary range 130k-190k DOE.
