$73,736.00 annuallyWork Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Seven years of mass appraisal experience with two years of supervisory experience. Up to four years of experience may be substituted with education that provides applicable knowledge and skills. At least one mass appraisal designation: Certified Assessment Evaluator (CAE), Residential Evaluation Specialist (RES), Assessment Administration Specialist (AAS), Mass Appraisal Specialist (MAS), or a Registered Mass Appraiser (RMA) or must achieve one of the designations within three years of hire date. Has successfully completed the following courses: International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) Course 101- Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal, IAAO Course 102
- Income Approach to Valuation, IAAO Course 300
- Fundamentals of Mass Appraisal, Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Kansas Property Tax Law. Must successfully pass the following courses within three years of hire date: IAAO Course 400
- Assessment Administration, Orion Introduction and Overview of Basic Functionality, Sales File Development, Orion Market Modeling Analysis and Automated Sales Comparison.
Preferred Qualifications:
Nine years of mass appraisal experience with four years of supervisory experience. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. At least one mass appraisal designation: Certified Assessment Evaluator (CAE), Residential Evaluation Specialist (RES), Assessment Administration Specialist (AAS), Mass Appraisal Specialist (MAS), or Registered Mass Appraiser (RMA) required.
