Deputy PVA
  • Front Office Warren County, KY Property Valuation Administrator Working in the Front Office
  • Deputy PVA, Warren County Full-Time | Typically 8:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM | Monday-Friday (Some evenings and weekends required) The Warren County Property Valuation Administrator's Office is seeking a Deputy PVA for the Front Office to serve as the first point of contact for the public and as a trusted representative of this office.
This position carries real responsibility. As a Deputy PVA, you will be deputized to act with official authority in assisting the public with property valuation matters. The work we do directly affects taxpayers, property owners, and businesses throughout our community. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of public service and approaches it with integrity, professionalism, and care. What This Role Involves Serving as the primary front office contact for citizens and taxpayers Assisting the public with questions regarding real property and motor vehicle valuation Working closely with Deputy County Clerks on automotive property valuation matters Reviewing and authorizing documents and actions in accordance with Kentucky law and office policy Providing accurate information in a respectful, calm, and solution-oriented manner Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information Supporting the overall mission of the PVA's Office in delivering fair and equitable assessments The Reality of the Front Office This is a high-interaction, high-responsibility position. You will often be assisting members of the public while they are standing just a few feet away, watching your screen and waiting for answers. At times, those individuals may be frustrated, confused, or under stress themselves. The right candidate must be able to: Multi-task efficiently without sacrificing accuracy Work carefully and methodically under pressure Maintain composure and professionalism in difficult conversations Uphold fairness and consistency, even when it is uncomfortable Deliver correct information the first time This is not a position for everyone. It requires emotional steadiness, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and precise when the pressure is on. For the right person, however, it is deeply meaningful public service work. Demonstrates strong integrity and sound judgment Maintains a positive, helpful attitude, especially in challenging situations Communicates clearly and respectfully with people from all backgrounds Is dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Understands the importance of professionalism in public office Takes pride in serving the community Knowledge of real estate, property assessment, or automobiles is helpful but not required . A willingness to learn and grow in these areas is essential. Training will be provided, and ongoing learning will be part of the role.
