We are looking for someone who understands how buildings are repaired and restored and wants to build a long-term professional career in the insurance claims industry. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to transition out of physically demanding field work or emergency restoration into a professional office environment with long-term growth potential. No prior public adjusting experience is required. We are willing to train the right individual.

Initial responsibilities will include:

Reviewing property damage documentation Learning estimate and supplement preparation Assisting with claim files and project documentation Reviewing repair scopes and insurance estimates Learning residential and commercial property damage evaluation As training progresses, responsibilities may include: Attending property inspections Preparing repair estimates and damage evaluations Assisting with insurance claim negotiations Managing portions of residential and commercial claims

Preferred Background:

Construction Restoration or mitigation Roofing or exterior repair Remodeling or reconstruction Project management Field supervision Xactimate experience is a plus, but not required

Position Details:
