Job Description
Errand Runner / Property Support Specialist Middleton Street Property Management Position Overview The Errand Runner / Property Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting daily operations by handling field tasks, property checks, and light maintenance/cleaning responsibilities. This position ensures our properties are well-presented, accurately documented, and operationally ready, while also completing time-sensitive errands efficiently. Key Responsibilities Errands & Administrative Support Complete daily errands including bank deposits, post office runs, office supply and grocery pickups Deliver notices such as outstanding balance letters and other tenant communications Assist with bill payments and document drop-offs/pick-ups File eviction paperwork at the courthouse as needed Handle occasional owner-related personal tasks in a professional manner Property Support & Maintenance Perform minor cleaning tasks including: Toilets, sinks, and surface wipe-downs Sweeping and trash removal (as needed) Window sill cleaning and odor treatment Ensure properties meet basic cleanliness and presentation standards Vacant Property Management Conduct inspections of vacant properties and report findings clearly and promptly Take high-quality marketing photos of properties for listings Create basic floor plans of properties (using company tools/software) Capture video walkthroughs of properties for marketing and leasing purposes Install and manage lockboxes and signage Coordinate and complete key cutting as needed Deliver and restock cleaning and property supplies Ensure all assigned vacant property tasks are completed and properly followed up on Required Skills & Qualifications Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks Effective communication skills (in-person, phone, and email etiquette) Basic proficiency in Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Chat) Ability to take clear, professional-quality real estate photos and videos Ability to learn and use floor plan software/tools Strong time management and organizational skills Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Valid driver's license and dependable personal vehicle Basic knowledge of home appliances and general property systems
