Order inspections from 3rd party inspectors. Review interim construction draws and 3rd party inspections for accuracy. Serve as general liaison for commercial and consumer appraisal processes. Perform other projects as needed. Principal Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for staying up to date on and complying with all applicable banking laws and regulations as well as CNB policies and procedures. Review bank process ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and uphold the written policy. Maintain a routine and adequate interim construction inspection process on interim construction loans in accordance with policy. Communicate with 3rd party inspectors and provide guidance or feedback on any construction projects in question. Generate weekly reports on interim construction loans from Business Analytics for the organization and maintenance of the interim construction inspection log. Review 3rd party inspector invoices for accuracy and promptly submit to the Accounting Department for payment. Review and assess the adequacy of interim construction draw forms for interim construction loans according to construction draw guidelines. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Work cooperatively with others. Work overtime as needed. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification. Serve as a liaison between bank departments and appraisers. Verify all factual data contained in appraisal reports. Send received appraisal reports to corresponding 3rd party reviewer Send completed and reviewed appraisal reports to the correct person(s) Handle telephone inquiries pertaining to appraisal and evaluation information. Responsible for continuously searching regulations affection real estate appraisals in order to report any changes to management Skills and Abilities Required Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills as well as the capacity to learn and efficiently utilize various other computer programs including Premier Business Analytics and SageWorks. Advanced level of knowledge with regard to lending practices and institutions specific lending guidelines regarding real estate construction lending. Advanced knowledge of real estate loan products, appraisal policy, loan policy, USPAP guidelines. Possess an aptitude for coordinating and prioritizing multi-tasked responsibilities Aptitude for objectively and independently evaluating risk in inspection analysis and demonstrating high quality judgment, organization, and prioritization skills. Competent in analyzing large amounts of data and thinking independently. Excellent written and oral communication skills and capability in handling sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner. Certifications/Education and Experience A minimum of 3 years of combined related experience in a loan review, operations, credit analysis or real estate transaction related function is required. Working Conditions Busy environment with varied noise and at times of heavy distraction Indoor, in an office environment, with a typical 40-hour workweek Considerable effort and eyestrain from continuous computer use. Physical Requirements Occasionally move office equipment, and files weighing 10+ pounds. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time to process work.
