Job Description

Quality Assurance & Compliance Coordinator Location:
In-Office (Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM)
Compensation:
$20.00•$22.00 / hour Position Overview We are looking for a Quality Assurance & Compliance Coordinator to join our team. Your main goal in this role is to ensure all products are safe, compliant, and legal by meticulously managing our quality control "paper trail." If you love keeping documents organized, navigating regulatory standards, and ensuring everything is running smoothly behind the scenes, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities Utilize specialized software to vet suppliers and ensure all vendor certifications are accurate and up to date. Ensure the company strictly follows FDA regulations, Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) guidelines, and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Assist the team in obtaining and maintaining specialty product certifications, including Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, and Halal . Help organize internal audits, field technical compliance questions from the sales team, and manage administrative "holds" on incoming shipments if quality issues are detected. Partner with internal departments and external agencies to resolve compliance or documentation issues quickly and effectively. What You Need to Have (Requirements) Ideally 3+ years of experience working in an FDA-regulated field (such as food, beverage, or dietary supplements). High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and general document management systems. If you do not currently hold your PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) or FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Programs) certifications, you must be willing and able to obtain them within one year of hire. Strong technical writing capabilities, solid basic math skills, and the ability to clearly explain complex regulations to teammates and external partners.
