Job Description

Regulatory Affairs Specialist Pay Rate $25.00/hour to $26.00/hour Duration One Year Hours Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm
Location Madison Heights, MI Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology or related field. Experience in professional level position in business. Experience with OSHA/TSCA/RCRA/Export regulations desirable. Ability to manage multiple projects while effectively communicating status to senior staff. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent Computer Skills. SAP experience, preferred Background in Industrial Chemical Regulatory Affairs, preferred.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that our customers and employees are fully informed about the health and safety characteristics of our products and raw materials and that all products marketed by Henkel Corporation are in compliance with all appropriate regulations (Federal, State, County, regional and/or local.) Prepare and provide product Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and label warning statements in compliance with all appropriate regulations and in a timely manner. Provide timely assessments of developmental materials, including chemical materials and formulations, in order to assure that their health and safety, transportation, and disposal considerations are fully understood relative to business impact and customer satisfaction. Ensure continuing familiarity with all of the latest applicable regulatory and toxicological information. Maintain a thorough knowledge of Henkel products, chemistries and processes.
