Job Description

Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a strategic and collaborative regulatory affairs professional to join our research and development team as a regulatory affairs specialist. In this position, you will provide regulatory insight and guidance that supports product development, global market access, and compliance decisions, while partnering across teams to ensure alignment on regulatory strategy throughout various product lifecycle. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys interacting with various groups, is an independent problem solver, and is eager to take on increasing responsibility and grow within the field. What You Will Do as a USANA Regulatory Affairs Specialist Provide regulatory insight and support to ensure compliance with domestic and international requirements Serve as a liaison between corporate teams, regional offices, and external partners to align on regulatory strategies Review product formulas for ingredient compliance and provide guidance on allowable claims and market restrictions Maintain and improve regulatory tools, databases, and processes to support efficiency and accuracy Ensure packaging content (labels, cartons, inserts) meets regulatory standards Prepare and submit product registrations and certifications to support global market launches Monitor regulatory changes and communicate business impact and recommendations to stakeholders Assist in resolving complex regulatory issues and provide solutions-based recommendations Review marketing materials, labels, and technical documentation to ensure regulatory compliance Background and Skills You Will need Bachelor's degree in a science-related field 5-8 years of experience in regulatory affairs or quality assurance, preferably in dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics Strong knowledge of domestic and international regulatory requirements Strong organizational and project management skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively What Will Make You Standout Experience supporting global product registrations and market launches Knowledge of U.S. regulatory environment •Position is hybrid/remote requiring regular in-office work in Salt Lake City Who We Are Since 1992, USANA has put science first with our focus on in-house research and manufacturing based in Salt Lake City, Utah to drive the creation of supplements that give your body the exact nutrition it needs to thrive.
