Job Title:
Regulatory Affairs Specialist Job Description Join our team as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, where you'll coordinate, prepare, and review regulatory documents and certifications for domestic and international projects. Your role will include tasks such as reviewing raw material documentation, supporting the development of regulatory specifications, and filing with various government agencies. You will ensure compliance with laws and standards for flavor and fragrance formulae. Responsibilities Coordinate, prepare, and review regulatory documents and certifications for example: Specifications, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Flavor/Fragrance Allergens, BE/GMO, Organic, Natural, IFRA, Country of Origin, GRAS, Kosher, Nutritional Review raw material documentation and enter data into databases. Support the development of regulatory specifications. File Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) documentation for flavors. Support Kosher and Halal certification. Ensure compliance of flavor and fragrance formulae with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Function as a liaison among internal departments, such as QA, to discuss customer regulatory needs and specifications. Essential Skills 1-5 years of experience in the regulatory affairs industry. Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Nutrition Science, or a related scientific field. Experience with Safety Data Sheets and familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and technologically savvy. Detail-oriented and able to analyze data effectively. Experience or exposure to pet and animal feed regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Trace Gains software. Enthusiasm for food, flavor, and feed regulations. Excellent computer skills. Strong analytical skills are preferred. Good Interpersonal skills Work Environment The work schedule is from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The first two months of training will be fully onsite, after which a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote is available. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
