Meet the team:
The Principal Firmware Engineer will design, define, and oversees the high-level technical architecture of embedded/firmware software systems for the iCGM products, balancing performance, reliability, and security with hardware constraints. Will lead technical design decisions, define module interfaces, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate on system integration.

    System Design & Architecture:
    Design, implement, and document technical specifications for embedded/firmware software architectures, tracing from requirements to manufacturing.
      Hardware Integration:
      Collaborate closely with hardware teams to ensure efficient software-hardware integration, including driver development, battery management, and memory optimization.
        Technical Leadership:
        Lead and mentor engineering teams and individuals, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and establishing coding standards.
          Performance Optimization:
          Conduct system-level performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization for reliability, security, and scalability. Must have good communication skills (verbal & presentations) to present technical positions different audiences (Engineers to Executives).
            Regulatory Compliance:
            Ensure software meets FDA standards, safety regulations, and security requirements.
            What makes you successful:
            • Substantial experience in embedded systems design, development, and debugging, with expertise in C/C++ and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
            • A Deep understanding of microprocessor/microcontroller architecture (ARM Cortex, etc.), low-level peripheral drivers, and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, BLE).
            • A Strong proficiency in software architectural design patterns, modularity, and reusability. What you'll get:

            The Regulatory Scientist will work within Regulatory Affairs, Government Affairs and Global Advocacy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efforts for Dexcom's digital health, software-enabled products, Ad/Promo activities, and advocacy and policy analysis efforts.

            Meet the team:
            The Director, U.S. Sales Operations serves as the strategic business partner to the VP of Sales and Regional Sales Leaders while leading a team of Regional Business Analysts aligned to field execution.
