Responsibilities Assist with IT general controls (ITGC) testing and documentation as part of financial statement audits Support SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations through control testing, evidence review, and documentation of testing procedures Assist with internal controls and business process review engagements, including documentation of process narratives, flow diagrams, and risk/control matrices Perform control testing across financial reporting, operational, and IT areas Build collaborative relationships with team members and clients by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively and professionally Qualifications Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Familiarity with basic internal control concepts is helpful but not required; training will be provided on applicable best practice control frameworks Genuine curiosity about technology and how it intersects with business risk and controls - no prior IT audit experience required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite CPA or CIA (or progression to) preferred Works well on a team but can also manage work individually Self starter, with attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Warren Averett is an equal opportunity employer.
