Job Description
A Career with Point72's Third Party Risk Team The Third Party Risk Group at Point72 is responsible for identification, monitoring, and reporting of third party risk across the firm. We also manage business continuity, third-party risks, and commercial lines of insurance (excluding employee benefits).
ABOUT THE THIRD PARTY RISK INTERNSHIP
You'll gain exposure to the third-party risk lifecycle, including vendor identification, onboarding documentation, and ongoing monitoring You'll assist with conducting operational due diligence by researching vendor backgrounds, organizational structure, financials, and service models You'll have the opportunity to support vendor risk assessments and help populate and maintain the vendor inventory with key controls and risk indicators You'll assist with coordinating information requests and communications with vendor owners and internal stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, and Information Security You'll learn about tracking remediation plans and supporting remediation follow-up and risk reporting You'll gain hands-on experience preparing concise summaries, risk reports, and presentation materials for team review You'll learn to use spreadsheets and risk management tools to analyze vendor data and support process improvementsSUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT POINT72
In addition to the learning and development you'll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will: Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths Get hands-on access to best-in-class tools and resources Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry Develop technical, writing, and presentation skillsWHAT'S REQUIRED
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, business, information systems, economics, computer science, or a related field Completion of relevant coursework or internship experience in risk management, vendor management, compliance, audit, or information security Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including functions and pivot tables, and familiarity with presentation tools such as PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to conduct research and analyze quantitative and qualitative data using spreadsheets or databases Availability to work full-time in our New York office for the duration of the internship Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills and eagerness to learn new processes and tools Commitment to the highest ethical standards When you apply to the Third Party Risk internship, you will be considered for multiple relevant teams within the department.ABOUT POINT72
