Work Setting:
100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
  • Experience in front‑office or middle‑office development, preferably supporting commodity trading desks and derivatives risk analytics
  • Experience with derivatives pricing, risk management, and market conventions
  • Experience with Python developing production‑grade risk models and analytics, with deep proficiency in Pandas, NumPy, and linear‑algebra‑based computations for numerical and time‑series analysis (5+ years)
  • Experience scaling risk models in Databricks using PySpark for distributed risk calculations.
  • Experience with AI-assist coding tools
  • Experience with distributed computing concepts, including data partitioning, parallel execution, and performance optimization.
  • Software engineering experience
  • Experience with
SDLC Preferred:
  • Quant or Quant Development experience in Commodities/Energy
  • Experience with modern data stacks
  • Strongly typed languages, CTRM systems, SAS experience
Responsibilities :
  • Build and scale Python/PySpark risk models in Databricks (VaR, PFE, scenarios)
  • Develop high‑availability, distributed systems and microservices
  • Support valuation and risk analytics for commodity products (power, gas, oil)
  • Apply modern design patterns to continuously improve risk infrastructure
  • Write high‑quality, well‑documented production code
  • Collaborate with front/middle office traders and quantitative analysts to translate derivatives pricing models, risk methodologies, and market conventions into scalable, production-ready analytics.
  • Optimize distributed computing workflows (data partitioning, parallel execution, performance tuning) and integrate AI-assisted coding tools within a rigorous SDLC framework (CI/CD, automated testing, version control). Why apply?
