Position:
The Controls Management and Testing Analyst is responsible for the identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, testing, and supporting activities to management of the Bank's risk and control management programs. The analyst partners with control owners in the first line of defense as they go through the various control management activities required to manage risk throughout the bank's course of business. Position:
Conduct ongoing monitoring of control effectiveness by reviewing exception reports and system-generated alerts. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies through sample testing and walkthroughs. Track and validate remediation of identified control deficiencies to ensure timely and effective resolution. Document and communicate findings from periodic control testing and reviews to relevant stakeholders. Evaluate changes in business processes to assess potential impacts on existing controls, recommending updates as needed. Perform root cause analysis on control failures and provide recommendations for process improvements. Assist with periodic Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) review for each assessment unit. Partner with other business support functions to improve control activities across business lines. Partner with first-line business unit leaders, providing expertise and assistance with risk management and internal control practices.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 3+ years of relevant experience with banking operations, risk, compliance, or legal. Experience implementing or maintaining a risk management program or internal control framework is desired.

Able to present and communicate clearly to management and business partners. Proficient at tailoring information for the audience's needs. Skilled at using data to spot trends in incidents, issues, and controls. Collaborative and able to build positive professional relationships. Capable of applying critical thinking to evaluate solutions and perform business analysis. Familiarity with assessing control effectiveness and identifying gaps. Knowledge of internal control frameworks and operational risk principles. Experienced in analyzing business processes to identify risks and controls.
