San Francisco, CA Purpose:
The purpose of the Credit Risk Analyst is to support the credit risk team, working closely with all members to manage customer credit profiles, review credit risk data, maintain documentation, and assist with compliance processes.
Responsibilities:
Order and track third party credit reports for new activity and annual reviews. Review credit reports, update tracking and take appropriate actions for financial health indicators (e.g., negative equity), rating downgrades (with summary of reasons), ownership information and changes vs. KYC documentation. Contribute to risk analysis process, including identification of accounts requiring credit reviews or additional documentation due to ownership or structural changes. Manage KYC compliance processes, including; screening execution, flag resolution, form completion & approvals, and documenting final approvals for audit and compliance purposes. Assist with collections activities for a designated portfolio of customers, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances and payment commitments. Assist in the credit application process, including reporting to the broader team of application status. Own and maintain customer credit profiles in internal systems. Maintain obligor ratings for lease customers, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. Update tracking system credit profiles upon approval, ensuring proper documentation and linkage to related accounts (lease, sales, depot, etc.). Contribute to the preparation of credit forms as needed. Log and monitor outstanding credit report requests for timely follow-up Support ad hoc projects and research assignments for the Credit Risk team.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in analysis, finance, or operations roles. Exposure to credit risk, financial analysis, or data management preferred. Familiarity with corporate structures, KYC, or compliance processes preferred. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, lookups, formatting, basic formulas). Experienced in Microsoft tools. Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Driven, proactive, and eager to learn.
