Your impact Jacobs is looking for a System Assurance Engineer to join our Rail and Transit team in Malaysia to support the planning and delivery of projects across the Asia Pacific region.
Day-to-day duties include:
Develop and maintain hazard logs and risk registers. Review contractor system assurance deliverables, ensuring compliance with project requirements. Conduct and facilitate hazard identification workshops (HAZID), hazard analysis, and safety assessments. Manage the FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System) process, including failure tracking, and coordinating Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings.
Produce system assurance deliverables including:
System Assurance Plans Safety Cases / Safety Justifications Hazard Logs and Risk Assessments Verification & Validation (V&V) reports Prepare and coordinate safety cases, technical files, and compliance documentation for regulatory review. Oversee requirements management activities, ensuring system and assurance requirements are properly defined, traced, verified. Here's what you'll need You are expected to have demonstrable experience with the following: Application of EN 5012x standards (50126/50128/50129) Integration of safety, reliability, availability, maintainability (RAM), and system performance requirements.
