Requirement/Must Have:
Experience shaping fraud strategy within a credit card issuing environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret fraud trends and portfolio risks. Experience connecting analytics and business strategy to support decision-making. Ability to balance fraud loss prevention, customer experience, and revenue objectives. Strong communication and presentation skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders. Experience working cross-functionally with business, product, risk, operations, and technology teams.
Experience :
Experience with portfolio-level fraud analysis and risk strategy development. Experience evaluating fraud policies, rules, models, and controls. Experience leading fraud reduction initiatives and strategic optimization projects. Experience conducting A/B testing, pilot programs, and phased strategy rollouts. Experience monitoring fraud trends, regulatory updates, and industry changes. Experience supporting product launches and digital channel fraud strategies.
Responsibilities:
Analyze fraud trends across the issuer credit card portfolio and provide strategic recommendations. Define and refine fraud strategy roadmaps aligned with business goals and risk appetite. Evaluate the effectiveness of fraud controls, policies, models, and operational strategies. Recommend portfolio-level optimizations targeting products, customer segments, and channels. Lead initiatives to reduce fraud losses, false positives, and customer friction. Coordinate pilot programs, A/B tests, and multi-phase fraud strategy implementations. Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Digital, Operations, Risk, and Technology teams. Integrate fraud risk considerations into new products, features, and channel strategies. Monitor external fraud trends, regulatory updates, and network rule changes. Develop strategic playbooks and recommendations based on emerging fraud threats and industry developments. Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Should Have:
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex fraud concepts in a clear and structured manner. Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills. Understanding of issuer portfolio management and fraud risk frameworks.
