Full Job Description Position Summary :
The Compliance & Risk Management Coordinator I (CRMCI) reports to the Compliance & Risk Management Manager and supports Compliance & Risk Management efforts across all departments. This level-I Coordinator will triage compliance correspondence, complete data entry tasks, schedule meetings, appointments and audits, prepare data for reporting to promote the health center's compliance, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and other risk management programs and policies. The position is a great introduction to healthcare compliance and quality improvement.
Essential Functions :
Collect and organize data generated through various audits, studies, and other activities for review and analysis as required by the Continuous Quality Improvement Program. Process and/or escalate Incident Reports submitted via the standard risk management software for distribution to accountable parties throughout the corporation. This will include input from staff, patients, and other stakeholder partners. Support CRMCII during audits conducted by regulatory authorities (i.e., Department of Health Care Services, Indian Health Services, etc) and/or contracted firms (such as annual Fiscal Audit, AAAHC, etc.) Maintain confidentiality and respect in handling both Protected Health Information and other items discovered through the audit processes. Support engaged discussion of SNAHC Policies and Procedures and CQI Toolkit during new hire orientations, quality improvement meetings, or ad hoc trainings. Collaborate with Human Resources and Information Services to ensure that data in risk management software is consistently updated and that reports and dashboards are current, functional, and meaningful. Assist CRM staff as they respond to Geographic Managed Care (GMC) regulations and monitor adherence to regulatory and other partners such as Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS.) Support CRM Staff during ad-hoc and/or periodic projects or surveys relating to risk management and accreditation. Serve as an ongoing resource to the monthly CQI / Risk Management Committee meetings Participate in credentialing work as a secondary support Complies with all state and federal laws and regulations, as they pertain to position including; HIPAA, sexual harassment, scope of practice, OSHA, etc. Participate in internal quality improvement teams. Works with team members proactively to drive quality improvement initiatives in accordance with the mission and strategic goals for the organization, federal and state laws and regulations, and accreditation standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent computer skills, preferably with Windows, including Microsoft Office 365 Excellent telephone and communication skills Must possess excellent organizational, writing, and verbal skills Work independently, set priorities, and consistently meet deadlines Maintain a high degree of confidentiality Demonstrate superior professionalism when dealing with patients, subordinates, colleagues, community members and vendors Collaborate and convene across sectors and organizational levels

Teamwork Quality Improvement Minimum Qualifications :
2-3 years experience working in an administrative function Demonstrable ability to utilize current Microsoft Office 365 suite in a professional environment Ability to work with racially, culturally, ethnically, and financially diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent is preferred Experience with the Salesforce platform Experience in an FQHC setting Familiarity with Lean methodologies
