The City is seeking an experienced Staff Adjuster to lead the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of third-party claims. This position is responsible for managing complex claims, overseeing investigative activities, and supporting risk management operations to ensure claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and manage third-party claims from initial assignment through resolution.
- Direct and oversee investigative activities performed by external claims and investigative service providers.
- Review claim findings, determine appropriate action, and maintain accurate claim documentation.
- Provide guidance, support, and oversight to staff involved in claims administration and risk management activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely claim resolution, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management practices.
