$35.00 per hour Responsibilities of the
Risk Management Specialist:
Lead the full lifecycle management of complex, lost-time Workers' Compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate handling Serve as the internal subject matter expert, providing guidance on best practices, compliance, and claim strategy Monitor and evaluate TPA performance through regular audits, identifying opportunities to improve outcomes and reduce costs Manage high-risk, litigated claims with significant settlement exposure and authority Partner closely with legal counsel to develop case strategies, set appropriate reserves, and drive favorable claim resolutions Proactively identify cost containment opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance standards Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies across all claims activity Qualifications of the
Risk Management Specialist:
2 years of college or specialized training. 3+ years of experience in a similar role. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with negotiation, organization, and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Commitment to providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
